BACK AGAIN...
Hi friends...I am back again...Sorry for the delay...Anyway, if my memory serves me correctly, I was talking about my tour to Maharashtra...Ajanta-Ellora to be precise...So, we were at Ajanta in my last post...and now I'd tell you about the rest of it...
After visiting the caves, we came back to our hotel, took an hour's rest and then started for Aurangabad, where one of my father's friends had already booked rooms for us at the 'ATHARVA HOTEL'. That evening, we refreshed ourselves and myself, along with my parents went for a stroll in the marketplace, while the others stayed back.While we were wandering about, searching as to where to have our dinner, we met a Bengali family.Just like birds of the same feather, we followed their words and went to the 'SRI KRISHNA RESTAURANT' as that was the only name we could recognize. We had our dinner early and went to our respective rooms as we had to move out for sight- seeing the next day...

Meet again later...
Those were just a few snaps...shall post the rest next day...Till then...enjoy these...and an advanced HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY to all my friends...BYEEEEEEEEEEEEE
THE TRIP CONTINUES...
On the way we stopped for tea, although it was still dark.We moved past jowar fields...it was awesome- the rising sun in the background and the green-yellow fields in the foreground...we finally reached Ajanta!!!
We had pre-planned to board a hotel for a few hours, just to dump our heavy bags and refresh ourselves after such a long train journey.We stopped at the 'MURLI MANOHAR HOTEL'-an hour away from the main caves.After refreshments, we booked a TATA SUMO(courtesy, our auto drivers) that took us to the entrance of the caves.There we had our breakfast and boarded the eco bus to the caves.
I was just awestruck looking at the exterior hills...never knew what was waiting inside...The hills and the forest looked like an oil painting on a canvass...so magnificent...so astounding...!!!

THE TOUR BEGINS...
After spending the pujas here at Durgapur, we packed up for our long planned tour to Ajanta, Ellora and Shirdi.We boarded the Mumbai Mail on the night of Dashami and after a long journey finally arrived at the Jalgaon station at around 4 in the morning.It was jet black all around.Not a single streak of sun rays were to be seen!We planned to move to Ajanta directly.So, my parents decided to book two autos(we went in a gang of eight!!!) for the journey...and there began a conflict among drivers of two unions.Anyway, the matter settled and it did not take us long to reach Ajanta.(To be continued...)
MY POST PUJA TOUR
Its almost a month since I last posted...I would have loved to complete the previous post...but that doesn't seem like a good idea now! Rather, I would like to add something interesting...something very old...but forever new.Check them out in my next few updates...Tighten up your seat belts to tour the astonishing Ajanta and Ellora!!!

LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT
Have you ever fallen in love???If not, just open out the window next to your bed after a tiring day and a jolly evening.When your parents in the next room are deep asleep, just hold the grills of your window and look through it.When the only sound around you is the monotonous groaning of an old fan that you have seen since you were born, just dare to unlock the window, and let a wild breeze smack your face. When your cheeks are being caressed by little strands of hair, do you not notice, the strangely awful silence of your locality?It seems as if you are in an alien land- the Utopia of your dreams!!! Your next door aunt who had been quarreling with your mom the whole morning, the flies droning in the confectioner's untidy shop, the screams of the child downstairs- there's nothing to match your memories of the day.
The watchmen, after striding about for a few hours, have fallen asleep too.You feel angry, right???Actually, they get paid for their job!Anyway, change your mood, look at something else.The construction site opposite to your house, so hushed, so motionless!The bulb hanging from an iron pole via a wire wavers as the breeze again lashes against you face.It seems to accompany the trees- right beside it- in their ballet.And their shadows play on Mr. Dutta's three- storeyed house.
Some nocturnals move about in the red road in front of your gate.An owl hoots, thus breaking off the silence, and is followed by a bat and a few other unknown birds.Your eyelashes covet those of your parents' as they too demand a good sleep. But the intoxicating scene refuses to let you go.And suddenly you notice the moon peeping through the mango leaves. It seems as if the silent moon tries to befriend you.Say a 'HI' and return to your own self...Oh! Was that a man?...

WHEN 'HE' LEFT SCHOOL
That was our first day of class nine. We were all cherishing our first day. During the recess, as usual, we came out of our classes and gathered in the field. It was then when he confirmed the news. For the past few months, he had been saying that he would be leaving school, but I did not expect it to happen so soon.
After dismissal, while I was sitting in the bus, I noticed him talking to his classmates, just as he did everyday. After a few minutes he pedaled his black Razorback to the window and bade me a goodbye with his same sweet smile accompanying him. I was startled. He never had come to my bus earlier. Although his unusual behavior scared me, I bade him back. And after he had moved a few meters away, I shouted at him. He turned back to look at me, and then… it was then I realized that my best friend had left school.
It was a stupid truck that compelled him to leave. Fraction of a second, and his body was red- his shirt, trousers: stained with that dangerous red. All the students, bus and car chauffeurs gathered around him. From a boy… he had turned into a ‘body’. His brand new black Razorback, broken and shattered, lay at a distance. I was stoned.A sense of guilt began gobbling me up. His red-stained smile snatched my sleep.
This was how my best friend, my dearest friend left school. He left me forever… never to join any school again.

HYPERLINK- Part 2
(...From Part 1)
And then when the night darkens,
The stars brighten and the bats begin their day,
A cold wind blows and a chill runs down my spine;
Not only that I feel cold,
But I fear the arrival of the next episode- Your departure!
I still remember the day when those 'animals'-
I call them such as they are worth it:
Pierced their knives through your wonderful heart;
That was the end of the golden days of my life.
I would have loved to caress you;
And now... I fondle nothing but your lingering essence-
I couldn't just keep my word,
Of protecting you every second of your life.
I was helpless- I couldn't help you survive!
I know I am a traitor, a bad man:
That is the irony of fate.
I just saw your coffin being lowered into the grave,
Your lips... with a broad smile on them,
And your eyes... a demonstration of serenity.
That was so strange...!!!So very strange!!!
And now, amidst the droning buzz of mosquitoes,
I am just switching from one phase of my life to another.
No sooner than I close one chapter,
An unblocked pop-up or a link too hyper waits to be clicked on,
To be edited...or...at times, to be updated.
Deletion is prohibited!!!
That's the worst part of it.
You keep adding as much as you wish to...
But beware!- It can never be deleted,
Not even a little insignificant part of it.
Now, I find the moon just above my head...
Just like life, it has its own pace,
And is moving just as it wishes.
So I'd better move on too,
Leaving you behind as a hyperlink-
To be clicked during some other leisure,
To be revised again, anytime, later.

When the sun sinks into the horizon;
When the sky turns a crimson red;
When the birds rush across the sky,
To reach their homes safely;
When the moon guarded by the stars,
Take over the sun lazily,
Its you I remember-
Sitting on the easy-chair, when I look at them,
I find your face engraved in the sky.
All thoughts in my mind become haphazard for a moment;
And before I am able to regain my senses,
You grab me into the sea of distress.
Your face in the night sky takes me back to those days at school,
When the others gathered around the roadside vendor,
It was just you and me left behind;
We gazed into each others eyes- speechless, motionless!
We only became conscious,when...
Some envious friend of yours,
Mocked at us stupidly.
Those are the days I remember.
The twinkling stars, and at times a meteorite across the sky,
Pull me into depression just like a quicksand.
I strive to come out, but the grip just gets tighter;
The clippings of our college days,
Flip fast in my memories;
Your first day at the panipuri stall-
And the tears trickling from your eyes and down your cheeks:
Your face red with the burning pepper...
Did nothing but enhance your charm.
Like an idiot, I fell in love with you once again.
Yes, those are the days I recollect.
When the sky turns a crimson red;
When the birds rush across the sky,
To reach their homes safely;
When the moon guarded by the stars,
