THE TRIP CONTINUES...

On the way we stopped for tea, although it was still dark.We moved past jowar fields...it was awesome- the rising sun in the background and the green-yellow fields in the foreground...we finally reached Ajanta!!!
We had pre-planned to board a hotel for a few hours, just to dump our heavy bags and refresh ourselves after such a long train journey. We stopped at the 'MURLI MANOHAR HOTEL'-an hour away from the main caves. After refreshments, we booked a TATA SUMO(courtesy, our auto drivers) that took us to the entrance of the caves. There we had our breakfast and boarded the eco bus to the caves.
I was just awestruck looking at the exterior hills...never knew what was waiting inside...The hills and the forest looked like an oil painting on a canvass...so magnificent...so astounding...!!!

THE TOUR BEGINS...

After spending the pujas here at Durgapur, we packed up for our long planned tour to Ajanta, Ellora and Shirdi. We boarded the Mumbai Mail on the night of Dashami and after a long journey finally arrived at the Jalgaon station at around 4 in the morning. It was jet black all around. Not a single streak of sun rays were to be seen!We planned to move to Ajanta directly. So, my parents decided to book two autos(we went in a gang of eight!!!) for the journey...and there began a conflict among drivers of two unions.Anyway, the matter settled and it did not take us long to reach Ajanta.
                                                            (To be continued...)

Rather, I would like to add something interesting...something very old...but forever new.Check them out in my next few updates...Tighten up your seat belts to tour the astonishing Ajanta and Ellora!!!
